Bring One Home: A Memoir of Boyhood, Basketball, and Hometown Spirit is a sweet and heart-warming re-creation of the 1960's era in small town America. The author accounts a "Bad News Bear" story that captures the community and hope of that time.
Bring One Home is about boyhoods buoyant with basketball. I found it an engaging work with a fast pace. A good collection of old photographs is also there to bring a few forgotten days back to life.
This memoir was sweet and heart-warming and re-creates the 1960's era in small town America in a vivid and nostalgic manner.
